Our History

historyBob and Dana Wright started Wright’s American Gymnastics in 1975. Both were former gymnasts and graduates of Ball State University and pioneers of club gymnastics in Indiana.   Bob and Dana’s daughter Casey is now the current owner. Wright’s has branched off to develop FUNdamentals, a facility and program dedicated to beginners. Wright’s has 2 FUNdamentals locations on the Southside.

The teaching philosophy of the gym has remained the same, simply to give each child the greatest opportunity to achieve their potential with the best possible instruction with the highest regard for safety. The systems of training for both recreational and competitive gymnastics and ripened throughout the years. Our progressions, curriculum, and equipment are second to none.

Wright’s has had several locations throughout the years. The most recent is our custom built facility in Center Grove. Wright’s Gymnastics is the longest running program in the state. Many of Wright’s gymnasts have gone on the receive college scholarships in gymnastics and many other sports as well.
