Developmental Classes

Our custom built gymnastics facility is the perfect learning enviornment for children and young adults. Our 30 years of experience has helped us to learn the exact training equipment necessary for safe and efficient learning. Feel free to come check out the gym! Our induvidual program levels offered at Wright’s are as follows:

Beginners 1 
Ages 6-8 years old.  This class is a one hour class. Skill focus will be handstands, cartwheels, back handsprings and walkovers, swinging, pullovers, vaulting, and beam complex.

Beginners 2 
Ages 8 and up. This class is a one hour class. Skill focus will be handstands, cartwheels, back handsprings and walkovers, swinging, pullovers, vaulting, and beam complex.  (Note: there is no difference between this class and Beginner 1 aside from age.)

Intermediate 1
This class is a one hour class. Students should have had prior gymnastics training, and have mastered beginner skills. Skill focus will be back handsprings, back walkovers, circling bar skills and intermediate beam progression. Evaluation is need for this class.

Intermediate 2 
This class is a one hour class.  Students must have a back handspring on the wedge mat.  Back hip circle on bars is needed and they should be comfortable on the high beam.  Skill focus will be round off-back handsprings, glide swings on bars, and handstands on beam.

Advanced 
This class is a one and a half hour class.  Students must have their round off-back handspring on the floor.  Working tucks and round-off double back handsprings on floor, and cartwheels on beam.

Tumbling Classes

These classes are geared to teach & improve tumbling skills typically used for cheerleading. It can also be a class for former gymnasts wanting only Tumbling and Trampoline skills. We recommend that new students under the age of 12 take start in our beginning gymnastics class before registering for these classes.

Back Handspring class 
This class is great for students working on back handsprings.

Beginner Tumbling 
Ages 6 and up.  Working on beginning skills such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, back walkovers, and back handsprings.

Intermediate Tumbling 
Students must have their back handspring.  Working round-off back handsprings and round-off back handspring back tucks.

Advance Tumbling
Students must have sufficient round-off back handspring.  Working tucks, layouts, and twist.
