Wright’s American Gymnastics began in 1975. Bob and Dana Wright, both gymnasts and Elementary education graduates of Ball State University, pioneered club gymnastics not only in Indiana but the US. The gymnastics ‘bug’ of entrepreneurial spirit stayed with their daughter Casey, who is now the current owner.
The Wright’s Competitive Team has always been the backbone of the company, and continues to produce confident, prepared, successful young women. Wright’s has developed National Team Members, over 3 dozen Division 1 NCAA athletes, hundreds of State, Regional, and National Titles, but more importantly, the WGA team has helped thousands of young women reach their dreams beyond athletics through a system that instills excellence in all endeavors.
The work ethic instilled by Bob and Dana in 1975 has remained. Four decades of technical knowledge, experience with athletes, parents, coaching styles, and changes in society proves the WGA dedication to this wonderfully difficult sport. Casey, now a resident of Carmel with 4 children at home stays very in tune to the gymnastics community,. She currently works hand in hand with the leadership team at WGA as well as a consultant to coaches and club owners across the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The Wright’s companies have also branched out to develop FUNdamentals, Ninja Zone, and Ninja Sport to focus on the grass root benefits of ‘flipping’, to instill confidence & character in young children.
Gymnastics brings out the best in our people and kids. That’s why we love coaching!
